Internal cameras are attached to the wall by small brackets: the cameras are small and light - only a couple of pounds - and the brackets are easily fixed by a competent Do-It-Yourselfer.

External cameras require a housing to keep out the weather. The housing surrounds the camera and is therefore larger: it is also significantly heavier. External cameras require stronger brackets and these need to be fixed to the wall with both camera and wires out of reach of potential intruders. Slightly more DIY skills are required than for internal cameras.

Cables come in standard 10m lengths but other lengths can also be ordered.
